The idea behind Toy Trunk by Kalaahi was born in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. Priyanka a mother and an architect by profession began to spend a lot of time with her son.

It was during this time she observed him play and started looking for the right kind of toys to aid his growth.

During this phase she got the idea of starting her own company to provide the right kind of toys for her child.

At the same time, Ajay an architect by profession was tinkering with the idea of starting his own venture in toys. After speaking with numerous parents he found that most toys in the market are simply entertaining the child without actually being beneficial in any way. This led to us coming together and founding Toy Trunk – by Kalaahi.
